Oil on hardboard by the writer and painter René Auste Bonnefoy, who took several pseudonyms during his career. The best known for painting was that of BR Bruss as well as that of Alain Fontanier. Still life in the painter's studio. There is a work in the style of BR Bruss hanging on the wall. As well as a primitive art figurine, all among the painter's tools. Signed lower left. Sold without the frame which is suffering from worm attacks. The hardboard panel is intact. Dimensions of the work approximately 33x24 cm.
