This lithograph “La Féérie des Heures - L'Aube” is signed Henri Rivière (signature barely visible) and bears a red stamp stamp in the lower right corner. The work is authentic and old. For the condition, note in the margin small tears (0.2 cm), small ink lines and small stains, slight fold marks. On the litho, we report small stains. The lithograph is very fresh in color, once framed most of the defects will be barely visible. Sold as presented. Henri Rivière (1864-1951) is a French painter, engraver and illustrator. He began his career with drawing and then with intaglio engraving and specifically etching in 1882. At the same time, he began a career as a director and scenographer, in 1886, of the shadow theater at the Chat Noir cabaret, shows that he improved by creating very innovative color sets. He then devoted himself exclusively to painting and engraving and established himself in the history of etching, printmaking, woodcuts, lithography and watercolor (he painted around a thousand watercolors).
