"Senufo Or Toussian Pendant, Ivory Coast 01"
Pendant featuring two standing figures atop a rectangular base. They are side by side, the right arm of one covering the left arm of the other. These two figures evoke a twin figure or a primordial couple. The faces with blurred features testify to their use in rites related to divination or as a protective amulet. Copper alloy made using the lost wax technique.
