Louis XVI Half-moon Console
Half-moon console table in gilded wood, Louis XVI style, topped with lightly veined Carrara marble. The carved belt is decorated with raised scrolls and a central ribbon. Hanging garlands appear from this carved belt. The whole rests on two turned spindle legs. In the lower part, a concave spacer holds in its center an oval urn with rectangular handles accompanied on either side by a generous garland of leaves. The spacer is supported by two turned feet. Napoleon III period.
