Scene of deer hunting in the forest, allegory of the month of Mars.

Black ink pen, gray & brown wash on laid paper.

Inscribed MARS in black ink pen in the sky.

Collection stamp Lugt 1851, lower right, possible Manteau collection.

Some stains, otherwise very good condition.
