The central stem is shaped like a flared, openwork fluted vase, ending in a base finely carved with acanthus leaves and rocaille motifs. The upper border of this "vase" features a large leafy crown from which two sinuous light arms emerge, shaped like leafy branches, blooming with small white porcelain flowers.
At their ends, bobeches in the shape of blooming flowers are topped by narrow flower sockets.
In the center of the vase, a third branch reaches toward the sky, carrying a multitude of small white porcelain flowers, probably from Saxony or Paris, modeled and enameled with great care.
These flowers, of various shapes, some with touches of pink or yellow, enhance the luxuriance of the gilded bronze.
This is reminiscent of the precious floral arrangements that were very popular in 18th-century aristocratic interiors.
