Combination safe (5 digits) in rosewood and gilt brass marquetry, decorated with a monogram on the lid framed by stylized leaf motifs, signed Th. Année* cabinetmaker Fabrique de Nécessaires, 18 rue Chapon Paris, Napoleon III period 19th century. This safe is in good general condition. It is pierced with holes underneath to fix it to a piece of furniture. The combination will be given only to the buyer (the system works). Please note: some accidents on the brass (elements are peeling off in places), crack on the lid, some scratches and wear from time, look carefully at the photos. * Théodore Année was awarded a bronze medal at the Exhibition of French Industrial Products in 1844.
