Very beautiful bed set marked JS, consisting of a large and wide sheet with its two matching pillowcases. Beautiful pieces forming part of a trousseau made around the first quarter of the 20th century. Wide river with pulled threads forming knotted bundles, interspersed with a frieze in ladder or Venice openwork. Monogram in generous relief embroidered on tightly woven linen with a very pleasant touch and soft lead. Fairly wide sheet - 230 cm - with embroidered returns over approximately 78 cm. Beautiful work executed by hand on extra quality linen in a slightly off-white color. Old linen washed and ironed.
