Virtue dagger from the end of the 19th century.

Entirely made of forged steel.
In the style of Viollet de duc.
These daggers, also called "pique couille" allowed "women of easy virtue" to defend themselves and were worn slipped into the garter.
Double-edged blade measuring 12.5cm.
Double quillon guard and interesting metal fuse (silver) twisted around the tang.
Steel scabbard with bail.
Total length 22.5cm.
Very beautiful little romantic dagger in perfect condition.
