"Painting Depicting A Caravan And Two People Near A Village "
Oil on cardboard panel, depicting a man, a little girl and a dog, near a caravan and a village. A large, tormented sky with shades of dark and light blue, highlights the red and white in the caravan, the little girl and the houses of the distant village. This technique, typical of the Lathem Saint Martin school, ultimately represents the work of Paul Permeke. The latter was the son of Constant Permeke, who used the same technique but in a darker tone.
