Pair Of Covered Medicine Jars In Savona Earthenware - Italy 18th Century
Pair of earthenware pharmacy jars decorated in blue monochrome with landscapes and cherub heads, with their lids adorned with a figure amidst vegetation. Italy, Savona, Folco factory, late 18th century. Dimensions: height 12.5 cm - diameter approximately 11 cm. Manufacturer's mark visible under the base of each jar. Very good general condition, some minor chips on one copy. A letter from Robert Montagut is attached, responding to a request for authentication of these jars and who offers to purchase them, with supporting documentation.
