Bronze sculpture with a nuanced brown patina, representing a seated mother holding two children in her arms. Late 19th century. Signed on the base F. Barbedienne Fondeur, stamp "Réduction mécanique A. Collas", and name of the sculptor P. Dubois on the reverse. Red marble base. Very beautiful original patina. In very good condition. Weight: 32 kg. Paul Dubois (1829-1905), French sculptor and painter, exhibited at the Salon from 1860. Influenced by the Italian Renaissance, he directed the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris from 1878.
