Art Deco sculpture in patinated silver bronze representing a walking panther on a black Belgian marble base. Signature on the marble, left, Ouline. Stamp "Bronze", intaglio, on the body. Period 1920/30 Note, a small chip on the edge of the marble, on the back. Alexandre Ouline is a sculptor of French nationality active during the period 1918-1940. He is referenced in the illustrated dictionary of animal sculptors by Jean-Charles Hachet.
