Large spherical vase with two movable hammered copper rings alternating with bands of bent wood, with its original pewter pot. Assembled with screws and small nails. Art Nouveau period, circa 1900. Height: 33 cm Width: 36 cm. Gustave Serrurier-Bovy (1858-1910) was a Belgian architect, decorator, and designer of furniture and decorative objects. He is one of the leading Belgian representatives of Art Nouveau, along with Paul Hankar, Victor Horta, and Henry Van de Velde.
