"Bust Of Mac-mahon After Bernard Seurre 1888"
Bust portrait of Marshal MacMahon in Sèvres biscuit, after Bernard Gabriel Seurre, known as Seurre the elder (1795-1867), from the Napoleon III period. On a turned blue and gold porcelain base. Signed in ink and intaglio, and dated 1888, on the back and under the base. A similar example, dated 1875, is kept at the Musée de l'Oise in Beauvais (inv. D13-40bis).
