"Wiskeman Table Centrepiece, Rocaille Decor, Original Mirror"
Superb Rocaille style table centerpiece, signed WISKEMAN, a famous Belgian goldsmith active at the end of the 19th century. This rare set is composed of a large, finely chiseled central planter and its original beveled mirror top, both in silver-plated metal. The decoration is typical of the Louis VX style: volutes, foliage and shells unfold elegantly. The planter rests on four ribbed feet and has two handles forming beautiful arabesques. The mirror top is surrounded by a matching, perfectly coordinated fretwork frame. A quality piece for collectors, decorators or lovers of refined goldsmithing.
