"Oil On Canvas Temples Of Paestum Grand Tour XIX Century"
Oil on canvas depicting a view of the temples of the city of Paestum with buffalo among the now-reclaimed marshes.The artist's signature is visible at the bottom right, but it is unidentifiable. Below it, the word "Rome" and perhaps the date though illegible.
From the canvas and stretcher, it can most likely be dated to the last two decades of the 19th century.
In excellent condition, it has only been cleaned.
