"Large Pair Of Serpentine Vases From Cornwall, England, Late 19th Century."
A rare and large pair of turned Cornish serpentine vases, 'stone found on the southern tip of the Lizard Peninsula, Cornwall, England'. Both are made of a deep grey-brown stone, interspersed with intense red spots. These vases are simply designed to enhance the aesthetic qualities of the natural rock. Two fine vases made in England in the last quarter of the nineteenth century.
