"Meissen Porcelain Plate 1774-1814"
Meissen Louis XVI porcelain plate, Marcolini period (1774-1814) with openwork decoration of a Greek frieze. Three mottoes are found in cartouches: "Enseignez-moi le Maitre" , "qui vous a appris l'art séducteur", "par l'esprit de gagner tous les coeurs". The plate is decorated with floral elements and gardening attributes in the center and is enhanced with gilt. On the underside is a mark of two crossed swords and a star for the Camillo Marcolini period. This plate is in good condition.
