Object description :

"Necklace Attributed To Line Vautrin In Golden Talosels And Resin On Metal "
Line VAUTRIN (1913 - 1997) was a world-renowned French artist and designer of jewelry and decorative objects. The daughter of a bronze artist, she emerged as a precocious artist, demonstrating originality and independence from the artistic conventions of her time. Revealed by her jewelry collection at the 1937 Universal Exhibition, which allowed her to open a boutique on the Champs Elysées, she has since created unique, strong, highly identifiable pieces, imbued with freedom, imagination, lyricism and poetry, but also playfulness and humor, referring to poems, concepts, hidden messages, suggested or engraved.....Particularly innovative, she created a new material: "talosel", which can be found on many of her works, including the particularly sought-after "witch mirrors"....The invention of this material and her creative universe earned her the nickname "metal poetess". His independent and mischievous character is even reflected in the signature of his works: sometimes bearing the shortened signature “bi”, sometimes “joux”, or “LV” on his jewelry, many of his works are simply not signed, the artist thus displaying a nonconformist and casual approach to his art. We present here a revisited chandelier-style necklace, adorned with a cascade of talosels in the characteristic golden color of his pieces, although this jewel is not signed. The talosels are encrusted in resin and assembled on metal. They bring this particular light and shine, deep, with changing colors. As a highlight, pear-shaped pendants, adorned with larger talosels, add volume to the necklace. Possibility of payment entirely remotely via the site.
