- Solid silver pocket or fob watch, Neuchâtel cantonal shooting, Le Locle.- Swiss grouse hallmark in use in Switzerland from 1882 to 1934 present on the bowl and the edge of the case of the pocket watch. - Rectangular Swiss hallmark with the numbers 0.800 engraved in hollow inside the rectangular hallmark expressed in thousandths 800/1000 for the purity of solid silver in use in Switzerland present on the bowl and the dust cover. - Chiseled and guilloché bowl with relief decoration of a view of the municipality of Le Locle in Switzerland and its original presentation case with the words engraved in hollow in a ribbon Le Locle 7-15 August 1892 Neuchâtelois cantonal shooting and a radiant symbol (light) on the municipality of Le Locle below the ribbon with fir trees, holly leaves, two flags and shooting attributes (rifles and target) as well as two coats of arms representing the municipality of Le Locle and the canton of Neuchâtel in Switzerland. - Meaning of the old coat of arms, flag, coat of arms of the municipality of Le Locle. - The red and yellow diamond colors of Le Locle. - The blue color for the crossing water of the Bied. - The green color for the fir forests of the Jura massif and the greenery. - Meaning of the coat of arms, flag, coat of arms of the canton of Neuchâtel. - The coat of arms of the canton of Neuchâtel is in the traditional sense a trifecta in pale sinople structured in three parts from left to right in the colors green, white and red. - Green for the pastures and fir forests of the Jura massif. - White for the valleys which recalls the ripe wheat. - Red for the lower part of the canton, because it produces red wine. - In the red colored part, is found at the top right as a symbol the Swiss cross. - On the dust cover engraved in hollow, the name of the owner of the pocket watch Alfred Laurent and the name of a Swiss village, Chailly located in the commune of Montreux in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland and a date of August 18, 1892. - Rim of the bowl, edge of the pocket watch and rim of the smooth bezel, copper-plated crown winder, slightly domed and beveled mineral glass. - Number 70099 engraved in hollow on the bowl and the dust cover. - White enamel dial, Roman numeral for the hours, index graduation for the minutes painted in black. - Stuart blued steel hands for the hours and minutes. - Small seconds dial at six o'clock, Arabic numerals for the seconds with black painted railway graduation and blued steel second hand. - Gilt brass movement set with rubies with anchor escapement, screws, crown wheel, ratchet, ratchet pawl, polished steel advance and retard index located above the balance wheel. - Pendant winding and time setting by pressing the small push button located at the top right next to the pendant head and turning the winder clockwise at the same time. - In perfect working order, serviced by a watchmaker. - Original presentation case for the pocket watch in wood covered with black morocco with the words tir cantonal neuchâtelois le Locle 1892 gilded with gold. - Polychrome silk interior representing the flag of the canton of Neuchâtel with the coat of arms of the commune of Le Locle in the middle of the flag with a crown above the coat of arms referring to the castle built in the 10th century on a rocky hill and a Louis XVI ribbon knot with a laurel branch and its berries on the left and an oak branch with its acorns on the right between the coat of arms of Le Locle and the words Le Locle gilded with gold and crumpled moire silk in purple color. - Note that part of the closure of the case is missing, see photos. - Art Nouveau period, 4th quarter of the 19th century, year 1892.
