Lamp mounted from a Chinese porcelain baluster vase, with polychrome decoration in famille rose enamels representing an elegant court lady in a flower garden, holding a fan and a prunus branch. The other side presents a poem in Chinese calligraphy. Side sockets in the shape of red chimera heads holding rings. Functional electrical mount, with brass socket and wire switch. Varnished wooden base, with tenon assembly. Later electrification. Sold without lampshade.
