Elegant vase in fine Limoges porcelain, Tharaud factory, circa 1950/1960. Lush decoration of large stylized flowers and blue foliage on a deep midnight blue background, highlighted with fine gold threads. The contrast between the milky white of the porcelain and the intensity of the blue and gold gives this vase a remarkable decorative presence. Refined work characteristic of post-war Limoges productions, in a spirit that mixes late Art Deco and floral modernism.
