Manufacture des émaux de Longwy Black and gold glazed ceramic ball vase, Midi model Black sea urchins stamp under the base H. 18 cm diam. 16 cm Creation F.Mané Originally from Catalan lands, Frédéric Mané spent his childhood between Collioure and Cadaquès, cities of painters celebrated by Matisse and Dali. He grew up in a colorful environment of artists and remains marked by the enchanted world of the toy store founded by his grandfather in Perpignan. His sources of inspiration are the bewitching muses and mythological stories of the Mediterranean. His creations are influenced by the observation of nature in perpetual movement, such as drops of water trickling on leaves, the flight of a bird on the sea, the beating of an insect's wings in the moonlight or the gallop of a horse at dusk. His drawings transcribe these moments of poetry into clean lines and synthesize these movements into a palette of ever-refreshing colors. Each of his collections, designed with passion and precision of detail, tells romantic and symbolist stories in a resolutely contemporary style. For 14 years, Frédéric Mané has been a consultant designer and collaborates with expert houses, Parisian jewelers and international brands. With a varied creative experience in the field of luxury houses and particularly in jewelry, the design of precious objects and accessories, Frédéric Mané collaborates with the know-how houses and the high jewelry workshops of Place Vendôme, this allows him to have a technical follow-up of the process of designing the pieces, from creation to manufacturing in all its technicality as well as its subtlety. Internationally, he carries out missions in the Emirates and Asia, with presentation of the collections, meets and designs live for the private clientele for whom he imagines unique and tailor-made pieces around a rich palette of styles and sensibilities.
