"Turquoise Blue Porcelain Gourd Vase. China, 17th Century."
Small vase of rare form. Very elegant, the turquoise blue enamel is finely crackled, its firing was very well controlled and no burrs have flowed. Careful work. The photo does not provide information on the correct color, in fact the predominantly turquoise background is a little greener in reality, which contrasts more with the shades of blue. These small vases held seasonal flowers, the contemplation of which encouraged meditation.Chinese work from the beginning of the Qing period around 1700. Good condition. Height: 105mm
