Very charming and small Louis XVI Directoire chest of drawers in fruit wood with its white marble. Very original and rare production because of its short period, it is exactly at the end of the Louis XVI period and at the very beginning of the Directoire around 1790 to 1800. We note the absence of ears on the fluted uprights which are typical of 1780 to leave room for straight uprights but which kept their fluting before 1800. A marquetry fillet around the drawers in a Greek style. It is topped with its original marble in good condition. The front legs are typical of the Louis XVI style and the rear legs are not straight as in the Directoire style. Very good condition, beautiful patina, the two rear shoes are on order and will be installed shortly. Dimensions length 108.5 cm by 53.5 cm and height 84.5 cm. Original locks present but no key.
