Engraving Representing The Port Of Boulogne Signed Yves Le Gouaz After Nicolas Ozanne

Polychrome engraving signed by Yves Le Gouaz (1742-1816) after Nicolas Ozanne (1728-1811) representing:
"The Port of Boulogne seen from the Pidou Pier Reduced from the Collection of Ports of France drawn for the King in 1776 By Sr Ozanne Engineer of the Navy Pensionary of his Majesty In Paris at the Gouaz Engraver rue S. Hyacinte the 1st Porte Cochere on the left by the Place St Michel ".

Note: Nicolas Ozanne (1728-1811) is a French painter and draftsman. Yves-Marie Le Gouaz (1742-1816) is a French engraver, student of Nicolas Ozanne, who became in 1770 engraver of the Academy of Sciences, which entrusted him with his work. He left sixty engravings representing ports of France after drawings by Ozanne, Plate from the series Ports of France drawn for the King in 1776.
