Solid silver cutlery set, Empire style for 12 people. Decorated with palmettes, eagle or swan wings, rosettes, falling leaves, flaming torch and thyrsus (main attribute of Dionysus). Very delicate model with a lot of detail.
It consists of 53 pieces:
- 12 Table spoons
- 12 Table forks
- 12 Rare oyster spoons (solid silver handle and silver plated top)
- 11 Coffee spoons
- 5 Serving pieces: 1 ladle, 1 meat carving set, 1 pie server (very finely worked) and 2 sugar tongs in vermeil and silver.
Hallmark: Minerva, 1st title (950/1000).
Silversmith: Ravinet d'Enfert.
In Paris between 1891 and 1984.
