Beautiful solid silver and ebony chocolate pot with its frother.
It rests on a plain circular base, the body is straight-ribbed. The spout is adorned with a beautiful "Poseidon" man's head surrounded by reeds and palm leaves, all on a matte background. The spout ends in a shell.
The domed lid houses in its center an elegant carved ebony fretel representing a seed, echoing the top of the frother.
The handle is carved ebony, and can be removed from the body thanks to a pin attached to the body with a small chain.
It comes complete with its very delicate frother, made of two woods: boxwood and carved ebony.
The interior of the chocolate pot is entirely gilded.
