Louis XVI Candlestick In Athenian Style
Lovely Athenian candlestick, in gilt bronze and bronze with brown patina, decorated with pine cones, lotus leaves, fluting, pearl friezes and post frieze, the cover turning to reveal the socket, the bowl supported by three feet decorated with ram's heads, lambrequins and finished with claws, joined on a trilobed base, bordered by a frieze of heart rays (small wear).
