Horse in training with his lad
Bronze with brown patina
H.: 33.5 cm; W.: 45 cm; D.: 19.8 cm
Signed "Cte du Passage" on the base
Numbered "55"
Old cast bronze
Considered one of Arthur du Passage's most remarkable works, this model dates back to around 1881. The artist perfectly illustrates the movement, playing with balance which gives the scene an ethereal grace and evokes speed. This is a technical feat, as the horse is only standing on one hoof and leaning on the lad.
