Classical guitar signed Sanchez from the 60s. This is a guitar most likely French dating from the 60s. It is a typical nylon string guitar of this era with steel string guitar tuners and yellow bakelite buttons found on guitars and mandolins from the mid-20th century. See all guitars made this way from the Brassens era. The spruce top with wide wings is decorated with violin-type purfling with alternating ebony maple and a triangular marquetry border. The rosette is original with floral decorations on a black shellac background. The back and sides are mahogany. This is a guitar that has lived and shows signs of use and wear. It is nevertheless restored, perfectly playable with a pleasant and timbre sound. The original label says guitar factory. Model José Sanchez. Gaillard et Loiselet. Lyon. This Gaillard et Loiselet brand is found on many instruments, particularly brass instruments. At the time, it was a major factory and store in Lyon.
