Single-edged blade, slightly curved, acid-etched with foliage on both sides; marked ‘Mort Aux Tyrans’ and ‘Vive La France’ on the left side; hallmark?
Bronze handle moulded in the round.
Quillon with leonine heads.
Spindle with geometric motifs.
Pommel depicting Marianne wearing a Phrygian cap.
Leather scabbard, brass fittings, iron rivet knob.
