"Painting By Je Karnec The Port Of Fécamp"
Superb and elegant painting representing the port of Fécamp by JE KARNEC (1865-1934), a French painter who mainly produced marine works in his landscapes, whether in Brittany or Normandy. We also know that he was a long-distance captain in the French merchant navy. His technique gives a charm to his paintings which all have the same spirit. The latter, which represents the port of Fécamp and more precisely the quays where the ships are moored, is of good quality; it is an oil on paper mounted on a wooden panel. Signed lower left and presented in a recent frame.
