A stunning and elegant Limoges porcelain dinner service from A. LANTERNIER. It is one of the most famous brands of luxury collectible porcelain, founded in 1857 by Alfred Lanternier in Limoges. It consists of 50 dinner plates, one large round salad bowl, two oval serving dishes, three round serving dishes, two oval serving dishes with lids, two small serving bowls, and one sauceboat. The set is adorned with a frieze of flowers and foliage and a gold band around the entire rim. The Lanternier mark is found on the bottom of all pieces. A high-quality, understated, and elegant piece in very good condition, with a few minor chips (4–5) throughout.
