Pair of silver-plated bronze candlesticks, early 19th century, Louis XVI style. Candlesticks of superb quality, very heavy. The base is highlighted by a strong twist topped by a fluted shaft with 1 twisted ring. The socket is also strongly fluted. Very good general condition. Some slight wear from use to the silvering. Early 19th century period, but of a quality equivalent to that of the 18th century. The shaft and base are full. Height: 33 cm. Base diameter: 14.7 cm.
