A masterfully still life with sea fish was created in 1879 by the French painter Adolphe Jourdan (1825 - Nîmes - 1889), classified among the painters. A student of the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris since 1844, he was trained by L. Coignet and Ch. Jalabert. He exhibited at the Paris Salon since 1855.
