Antique Walnut Nightstand, 1700s
We present this rare and valuable Italian antique bedside table dating back to the first decades of the 18th Century.
Made of solid walnut wood and featuring a front with decorative panels. Its design line is typical of furniture from the Tuscan region.
It may seem to have drawers, but this is an illusory effect because it has a door and a practical internal compartment with a shelf. Note that originally it probably really had drawers that for practicality have been transformed into a door over the centuries.
Spectacular pendant handles on the front in chiseled bronze that have acquired a beautiful antique patina.
