The boat rests on an oval pedestal base and features a shaped outline highlighted by a wide moulded lip, whose flowing lines recall the refined contours of 18th-century pieces. The matching lobed stand mirrors the sauce boat's form, with a moulded rim punctuated by subtle filets.
