"Boris Kryloff (1891-1977) - Troika"
- Watercolor. - Boris Kryloff was born in Moscow in 1891 and was particularly active in France during the first half of the 20th century. Before moving to Paris, he studied painting in Russia under Michaelowsky and Grinkovitch. His works often depict genre scenes of Russian peasant life, with red-nosed accordionists and headscarved babushkas, although he occasionally ventured into the fantastical theatricality of Russian folklore. - Unframed image size: 30 x 25 cm / 46 x 41 cm, with an elegant classical-style frame.
