IRRIGATOR with nickel-plated pewterpump marked Breveté SGDG GUARANTI VERITABLE JET CONTINU.
It is presented in its original box in painted sheet iron marked GH & Cie / PARIS, complete with its cannula.
Height: 15 cm.

In very good condition, the flexible hose is missing however.
Neither of the two authors cited below lists this model that I encounter here for the first time
In the 1840s, this irrigator was designed to perform vaginal injections. Its use will gradually be extended to other types of injections.
