Creil-Montereau earthenware is a ceramic production from the communes of Montereau, in the department of Seine-et-Marne, and Creil, in the Oise. Founded in 1797, the Creil factory, cited by Gustave Flaubert in L'Éducation sentimentale, developed especially in the 19th century.
