Louis Philippe period bookcase (1840-1860) in mahogany. It has three molded shelves on the front, the backs are in solid oak. This model is called "ogee", the cornice is round, soft and rounded in the corners. The patina is warm and deep, the grain of the mahogany is elegant and nuanced.
