He settled in the Bateau-Lavoir, surrounded himself with artists such as Elisée Maclet, Max Jacob, Gen Paul, He specialized in views of Paris: Montmartre (Moulin de la Galette, Sacré-Cœur, Place du Tertre), Opéra, Notre-Dame. He used gouache, watercolor, oil and drawing. Visible at the Courcelles Antiquités Gallery, at 97 rue de Courcelles, in the 17th arrondissement of Paris.
