- Earthenware sugar bowl and its polychrome round and scalloped lid from the Gien factory representing a woodcock decoration from the Rambouillet service designed by Jean Bertholle for the Gien earthenware factory. Decoration entirely hand-painted. - Created in 1955 by the Gien earthenware factory to meet the request of the President of the Republic René Coty to equip the prestigious residences which housed the presidential hunts. - Signed with the stamp of the Gien earthenware factory in black, mark at the château for the years 1971-1984 with a rectangle and the words Gien inside and France below the rectangle and the phrase decoration guaranteed unalterable fired at 1150 d hand painted and the initials.RC of the decorator of the Gien earthenware factory underglaze on the underside of the sugar bowl.- Period 3rd quarter of the 20th century around 1971-1984.
