Beautiful oil on canvas depicting a vibrant bouquet of wild flowers in a terracotta vase. Poppies, daisies, cornflowers and other meadow flowers are treated in a vivid and spontaneous palette, typical of floral compositions of the late 19th century. The work is signed lower right H. Niton (or similar – signature difficult to read), a painter not identified to date but probably from the French school of the turn of the 20th century. The painting is presented in a beautiful period giltwood frame, decorated with foliage. Decorative ensemble, full of freshness.
