Early 20th French School Art Deco Portrait Of An Elegant Woman Monogrammed Eb 1931

French school of the 20th century, portrait of an elegant woman, oil on canvas monogrammed and dated E.B. 1931 on the lower left. The monogram E.B. is also repeated on the back of the canvas.

The woman, elegantly dressed in evening wear according to the fashion of the 1930s, was portrayed in profile; she wears a black dress with a black fur stole, and bright red lipstick. She has a pretty hairstyle of short, wavy hair as befits Art Deco women.

Very good condition, small signs of aging. In a modern white lacquered wooden frame.
