"18th Century Montpellier Earthenware Bottle Cooler"
Brau bottle cooler in high-fire earthenware, cylindrical in shape, with two handles decorated in blue monochrome in the Bérain style, representing on one side the bust of a woman in a frame, flower vases, griffins and ironwork, on the other side a cherub sitting on a console brandishing a bow, griffins and a faun's head in a frame of ironwork, under the handles busts of women in a frame of ironwork. Wide laces border the top and bottom of the cooler. Good condition Total height: 20.50 cm Diameter: 21.50 cm Montpellier 1st half of the 18th century
