Spectacular soup tureen and its frame in 950/1000 silver, Minerva hallmark, silversmith Maillard. Early 20th century, silversmith Maillard, hallmark inscribed on April 7, 1905 and crossed out on June 11, 1910 at 113 rue de Turenne in Paris. Goldsmith hallmarks, Minerva hallmark on all pieces, including the fretel. Round shape, net model, double leafy handles. Splendid fretel with vegetables (carrot, radish, cabbage, tomato, peas, artichoke). Frame diameter: 30.5 cm. Soup tureen: Top diameter: 24.5 cm. Base diameter: 15.5 cm. Total height: 26 cm. Impressive weight of 3849 gr. Perfect condition. Note: some micro-scratches from use but nothing important. A magnificent model, very pure, except for the incredible fretel. Perhaps also used as a centerpiece. Very beautiful quality of execution, beautiful proportions!!!
