"Art Deco Vase "chicorée" Schneider Le Verre Francais"
Art Deco period (1918 - 1921) large vase in acid-etched glass from Schneider - Le Verre Français. Opal glass lined with powdered blue glass with white speckles, shading to green towards the top. Beautiful stylized decoration in acid-etched glass. It is signed on the base "Le Verre Français" and with the tricolor berlingot underneath (see photos).
This "Chicorée" decoration is referenced on page 91 of the book "Schneider - Le Verre Français" by MC Joulin and G. Maier.
Height: 35 cm. Diameter: 13.5 cm. Very good condition. No cracks, no chips.
